new, low cost programmable control relay featuring 25 different
function blocks to easily handle 32-bit math processing, plus
high-speed counter and encoder functions, and permits the
networking of up to eight relays, is being introduced by Moeller
Electric Corporation of Franklin, Massachusetts.
The Moeller Easy800 Programmable Control Relay provides
capabilities typical of larger PLC's, such as the ability
to program in ANSI, IEC, and Easy formats on the
front with 25 function blocks using a ladder diagram format.
Featuring a 32-bit four-function math processing, incremental
encoder inputs, 32-bit counters, frequency counters, timers,
and analog functionality, each relay module has an expandable
I/O system and a built-in network interface.
Suitable for automation applications from 18 to 320 I/O points
by networking up to eight control relays at distances up to
3200 ft., a network of Moeller Easy800 Programmable
Control Relays can be monitored from a PC which can be connected
to any station on the network. Each relay has a built-in LCD
that can display up to 32 screens of text with up to 64 characters
per screen, including up to four operation variables.
The Moeller Easy800 Programmable Control Relay is
